Darling River accommodation at its best

Idalia is a 59,000 acre property, part of 206,000 acres of working outback grazing land run by Tim and his father, near Louth, NSW, Australia.

Idalia Outback Riverstay offers a variety of superbly positioned, on property, Darling Riverfront accommodation to our outback visitors and travellers.

Whether you are passing by on your ‘round’n’through Australia journey, doing the Darling River Run, travelling past on business or pleasure, or specifically ‘on holiday’ (lucky you!), you will be welcome to break the journey here.  Conveniently sited along the Darling River Run in the far west of NSW, 143km downstream of Bourke.

All three accommodation types sit atop the riverbank, along a superior (lucky) stretch of river-water that boasts a fabulous series of deep holes. This gives Idalia permanent water frontage!  Accommodation includes:

A beaut little 1940’s cottage
Self-contained, air-conditioned and set atop the riverbank, the cottage sits just upstream of a hairpin bend and is surrounded by native trees, in a quiet location.
