This is what keeps Jane busiest!  She teaches Dermot his school lessons.  The bulk of his lessons are completed by correspondence, and then supplemented via “satellite lessons” on a computer. Everyone’s “on air” at 9am Monday to Friday for the roll call.

A gold coin donation to our P&C Association moneybox will allow entry to the Idalia schoolroom to see and hear how children receive an education on an outback property.

Our little school’s opportunities to gather for fundraising efforts are very limited with the school population spread across an area about three times the size of Tasmania!
